About Me
I will have my bachelor’s in science for interior design by the end of 2020. I have recently just won a scholarship from NEWH women in hospitality that will help me complete my bachelor's degree this fall. I am passionate about LEED design principles and approach all design solutions with sustainability in mind. To evoke a certain feeling or mood for a client within a space I utilize color theory, and weigh pros and cons of materials applied. The fundamentals of function and end use are always in my mind when developing a space to meet the client's goals. I am strongest in space planning and BIM modeling, while keeping in mind cost and constructability.
During my time in school I have participated in two National Design-Build Competitions. For the first year I assumed the team leader position and lead designer helping bring our team of five into the shortlisted phrase of the competition, ultimately placing third place in the country. The second year I assumed the lead designer role acting as the architect of record helping bring our team and Seminole State a first-place win in the country. The same dedication I brought to this prestigious competition is the same level of hard work and proficiency I have to offer in a future industry position.
